This mount is of a great old warrior.  His horns are worn from years of fighting.  He looks outstanding shoulder mounted with his head slightly turned to the right.

The Waterbuck is a large antelope found widely in sub-Saharan Africa. It is placed in the genus Kobus of the family Bovidae.  The thirteen subspecies are grouped under two varieties: the common or Ellisprymnus Waterbuck and the Defassa Waterbuck.
